Our Competition Preparation Camp is an intensive training experience designed for dancers who want to strengthen their technique, refine their artistry, and elevate their performance quality in both classical and contemporary styles.

This camp is ideal for dancers exploring competitions, preparing for upcoming opportunities, or simply looking to take their training to the next level in a focused and supportive environment.

Who Can Attend

• Dancers ages 9–18
• Open to all dancers, MBS & non-MBS
• No prior competition experience require
• Ideal for motivated students seeking growth and challenge
   

What Dancers Will Work On

• Classical ballet technique and variations
• Contemporary technique and movement quality
• Choreography for classical and contemporary pieces
• Musicality, coordination, and clarity
• Strength, flexibility, and endurance
• Performance skills and stage presence
   

Dancers receive detailed coaching and individualized corrections to dance with greater confidence, precision, and artistry.

Optional Evaluation Opportunity

For dancers interested in competitions or future performance opportunities:

• Professional evaluation is offered on the final day
• Participation is optional for non-competition team dancers
• No obligation to join a competition team
   

Schedule:   August 3–6, 2026 (Mon–Thu) 

• 9:30–12:00pm — Classical Ballet
• 12:30–3:00pm — Contemporary
• Thursday only: 3:15 PM – 3:45 PM — Optional Evaluation / Audition

• $650 Standard
