In this 30-minute session, you'll learn the fundamentals of pointe work with an emphasis on technique, strength, and balance, suitable for both beginner ballet training and those with prior experience. Our experienced instructors will guide you through exercises tailored to your skill level, ensuring a safe and progressive learning environment. Join us for adult ballet classes on Monday and Wednesday from 8:00 – 8:30pm, with sessions scheduled as follows: July 6-22 (3 classes), August 3-19 (3 classes), September 9-30 (3 classes on Monday & 4 classes on Wednesday), October 5-28 (4 classes), November 2-23 (4 classes on Monday & 3 classes on Wednesday), and November 30-December 16 (3 classes on Monday & 2 classes on Wednesday, with no class on 12.09.2026). The schedule continues with classes in January (11-February 1, 3 classes, no class on 01.18.27), February (3-24, 3 classes, no class on 02.10.27), March (1-31, 5 classes), and April (12-28, 3 classes), wrapping up with two classes on May 3-12. Please note, this class is open only to students who have attended the preceding ballet technique class, as proper warm-up and strength building are essential for safety and effective progress in pointe work. Each class will emphasize gentle technique work, expressive port de bras, musicality, and simplified variation study using the Vaganova method ballet, allowing dancers to experience the artistry and joy of classical ballet while building confidence and elegance.

Spring Gala Project 2027
This exciting new offering at the Minnesota Ballet School is crafted for adults eager to explore more than just standard adult ballet classes. It’s designed for those who wish to train, rehearse, and perform on stage.
Over 14 weeks, participants will engage in beginner ballet training that enhances technique, artistry, musicality, and choreography, culminating in a live performance at the prestigious Minnesota Ballet School Spring Gala. This program provides a supportive and inspiring environment where adult ballet instruction enables dancers to challenge themselves, grow as artists, and experience the thrill of performing in a professional theater setting, employing elements of the Vaganova method ballet.

How It Works
For Virtual Sessions:

2. Complete registration and payment.
3. You will receive the Zoom link and passcode by email.
4. Join the live class on Zoom using the same name you used during registration.
For Virtual Drop-In Classes:
1. Select Adult Ballet Drop-In — Virtual via Zoom during registration.
2. Complete registration and payment through our Drop-In registration form.
3. In the Notes section, please include the Adult Ballet class date and time you would like to attend.
4. You will receive the Zoom link and passcode by email after registration is confirmed. Join the live class using the same name you used during registration; you will be admitted from the Waiting Room before class starts.
