Classical Ballet Training for Every Level
Minnesota Ballet School offers adult ballet classes for dancers of all experience levels — from complete beginners taking their first ballet class to experienced and pre-professional dancers seeking advanced training.
Classes are taught by experienced faculty and grounded in the Vaganova Method, with an emphasis on classical technique, musicality, coordination, strength, artistry, and the enjoyment of movement.
Whether you are beginning ballet as an adult, returning after time away, or continuing your training, you’ll find a welcoming and supportive environment with opportunities to progress at your own pace.

With detailed explanations, students will explore the fundamental positions and concepts of Classical Ballet, utilizing exercises at the barre and in the center, following the Vaganova method ballet.

How It Works
There is no strict dress code for adult ballet classes. Comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows freedom of movement is recommended, along with ballet shoes.
For Pointe classes, properly fitted pointe shoes are required.
Curious about ballet or not ready to commit to a full session? Join us for a single adult ballet class. Selected classes are available on a drop-in basis for dancers of different levels.
No long-term commitment required — choose a class that fits your level and schedule and experience ballet at Minnesota Ballet School.
