Private Lessons with Meelis Pakri August 3–6 | Ages 9 and up
Former Principal Dancer with Estonian National Ballet and Colorado Ballet, Faculty Member at The Harid Conservatory, and YAGP Judge.
Meelis Pakri, born in Tallinn, Estonia, is an internationally recognized ballet educator and former Principal Dancer. He graduated from the prestigious Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia, and danced as a Principal Dancer with Estonian National Ballet and Colorado Ballet, performing leading roles in major classical, neoclassical, and contemporary repertoire.
Throughout his career, Mr. Pakri has worked with renowned companies including The Royal Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Houston Ballet, and Martha Graham Dance Company. He has served as a Ballet Master, taught internationally, and has been a guest teacher and judge for prestigious competitions, including Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP).
His students have received numerous awards at YAGP and other international ballet competitions. Mr. Pakri is currently a full-time faculty member at The Harid Conservatory in Boca Raton, Florida, where he continues to share his extensive knowledge and experience with the next generation of dancers.
