Classes run from 9am to 1pm, focusing on ballet technique, pointe technique, and repertoire. Dancers will learn variations from classical ballets such as “Sleeping Beauty,” “Giselle,” “Corsair,” and many more.
From 2pm to 4pm, students will continue their training with classes in Contemporary and Aerial Ballet, Character dance, and Partnering. Partnering classes will be offered based on the number of male attendees.
WORLD-RENOWNED FACULTY
The program culminates with a showcase in the Minnesota Ballet School studio on Friday, June 27 and July 18.
Oliver Halkowich, a former soloist dancer at Houston Ballet, now serves as the Choreographer and Trainee Program Director at New Orleans Ballet Theatre, bringing his expertise to the Minnesota Ballet School's summer youth programs.
