This workshop is designed to fully prepare dancers for the Nutcracker audition process. It focuses on mastering the choreography and refining the technique necessary for the iconic roles in this beloved ballet. Participants will have the opportunity to learn new choreography specific to the Nutcracker, as well as revisit and perfect pieces they've worked on previously. By focusing on both new and familiar material, dancers can enhance their performance quality and embody the character and style required for their desired roles. This workshop is ideal for those looking to elevate their technique, expand their repertoire, and approach the Nutcracker audition with confidence and artistry.
August 12-15.
Group 1 (ages 8-12): Mon-Thur 10:00am-1:00pm

Welcome to the Nutcracker Ballet Prep Camp, where joyful creative motion is fused with high-quality dance instruction led by engaging professional teachers!
This camp provides thorough preparation for the Nutcracker auditions, ensuring your child is ready to shine. Dancers will learn the enchanting Nutcracker story, master dances from the classical ballet performed by the talented artists of Minnesota Ballet Theatre, and immerse themselves in arts and crafts activities, creating fun and educational art projects inspired by the ballet "Nutcracker."
The camp concludes with a mini-performance for parents on the last day, showcasing the young dancers' newfound skills and creativity. It's a magical journey into the world of ballet and artistic expression!

DRESS CODE
Girls: pink tights, pink leotard, pink shoes.
Boys: white T-shirt, black tights, white socks, and white or black ballet shoes.
