How the Open House Works
Lobby – Check-In & Welcome
Families check in and pick up an Easter bag for the egg activity. Parents can meet instructors, learn about our ballet classes, summer programs, and workshops, and browse brochures.
Small Studio – Photo Booth
Children take fun photos with Easter and ballet props. Street shoes are allowed in this area.
Medium Studio – Mini Ballet Class
Children enjoy a short, guided ballet activity led by our instructors. Groups are divided by age to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Optional: children may wear ballet attire, but it is not required.
Large Studio – Easter Egg Activity
Children collect eggs and small surprises themselves using a pre-prepared bag. A supervisor ensures fair play and safety. Only children enter this studio for the activity; parents observe from outside.
Additional Notes
No personal baskets: Each child receives a provided Easter bag. Shoes: Indoor activities require clean socks or ballet slippers; street shoes are allowed in the lobby and photo booth. Ballet outfit: Optional — children may wear ballet clothes, but it is not required. Registration: Limited availability; register early to reserve a spot. Walk-ins are welcome if space permits.
Optional Donation
Support Minnesota Ballet Theatre & School — any contribution helps fund programs, events, and scholarships. Donations are completely voluntary; a suggested amount is $10–15, but any gift is appreciated. You can contribute online when reserving your spot or at check-in on the day of the Easter Open House. Every gift makes a difference for our students!
