Final Summer Intensive Placement Audition

Minnesota Ballet Theatre & School will hold a Final Summer Intensive Placement Audition on Sunday, May 17, 11:30 AM–1:00 PM.

This is the last in-person audition opportunity for our Summer Intensive 2026 program.

Due to high interest and a previous weather-related cancellation, we are offering one final placement audition for remaining spots across all levels.

Summer Intensive 2026 Programs

Ballet Levels 2–6 | Ages 8–18

• Camp 1: June 15–26 
• Camp 2: July 6–17 

Audition Details

• Open to serious ballet students ages 9+ 
• Required for Summer Intensive participation 
• Placement based on age, level, and availability 
• Open to both new and current MBS students 
• Limited spots remaining 

Schedule — Sunday, May 17, 2026

• 11:00 AM — Registration 
• 11:30 AM–1:00 PM — Summer Intensive Audition 

Video Audition Option

Video submissions are accepted until June 1, 2026 for remaining placements.

Audition Requirements

• Ages 9+ (male and female students welcome) 
• Group 1: Ages 9–12 — minimum 1 year of ballet training 
• Group 2: Ages 13+ — minimum 2 years en pointe experience 

Dress Code

Girls: Pink tights, solid-color leotard, ballet slippers and pointe shoes (if applicable)
Boys: Tights and fitted T-shirt
