This class is designed to build strength as well as extensions, endurance and balance. Special exercises will focus on muscle stretching and flexing, enhancing pirouettes, increasing movement speed, jumps with heights and timing escalating. The goal of this class is to make your children better dancers.

Contemporary ballet utilizes elements and techniques from other styles of ballet—classical, romantic, and neoclassical—and combines them with improvisation and freer movements to create a style that’s expressive and nontraditional. In this class students will focus on learning proper dance techniques such as isolations of the body, improving performance quality and developing complex rhythms and patterns.

Aerial ballet incorporates the aerial silks into choreography allowing dancers to explore space in alternative three-dimensional planes. Integrating vertical and horizontal movement patterns into choreography allows us to explore movement vocabulary otherwise unavailable to dancers. This class builds strength, power, flexibility, courage and grace in a non-competitive, exploratory
• Thursday 8:00-9:00pm
This adaptive ballet class is designed for children aged 6+ with mental, physical and/or cognitive impairments. Children will increase the level of musicality, coordination and strength, improve their social and motor skills, enjoying the elements of expressive ballet movement. Class size is limited to ensure an individual approach to each dancer.
Required Attire: Comfortable clothes

The purpose of this class is to improve the technique of ballet elements like twirling and jumping. Improvement in rotation by bringing the body on the foot into the correct position, finding balance and increasing the number of pirouettes from all positions, including the Fouette.
Mastering the technique of big jumps including Jeté en Tournant, Jeté Entrelacé, Grand Pas de Chat.
• Wednesday 7:00-7:45pm
These classes can be used for those already enrolled in our Classical Ballet Program as additional skill building opportunities. They are also great for children looking to learn a new skill and try a ballet class.
